​Post 512’s Sons of the American Legion and Auxiliary Unit are excited to welcome everyone to our annual Kentucky Derby Party & Fundraiser in beautiful Carmel-by-the-Sea! 
“The First Saturday in May” always brings out the racing fan in all of us.
 ~ Doors open at noon
~  Post time for "Main Race" at 3:57pm
 ~ Live Music between races from local legends, The Nicklas Williams Trio, starting at 1pm
~ Dress to impress — we’ll be awarding prizes for Best Dressed and Best Hat.
 ~~$20 at the door includes the classic Derby cocktail, the Mint Julep and access to the onsite Taco Truck.

For extra fun, start your day at the Monterey County Fairgrounds Race Place to place your bets  before joining the celebration.
This is a 21+ event and is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
